Cousins

We had such a low key fun day seeing the Snyders, Weavers, and Shepards last week. Chloe loves being with her cousins. It is such a special bond. It doesn't matter if they are a year older or 3 years younger, she is the most excited for a day spent with cousins!

An American Girl

For Chloes friend, Mikelle's 6th Birthday we went up to LA to the American Girl Doll Store
We had dinner in their darling cafe. Complete with highchairs for Jack and Jill, pink lemonade, cinnamon rolls as appetizer, dinner and our own minature cookies, cakes, and chocolate mousse

Chloe was so excited to have the beauty salon brush her doll's hair and add a cute little ribbon

Overall it was a great night!

Two Pages a Day

So my girlfriend in my ward started a great blog! She posts 2 pages a day of the Book of Mormon. It makes for such easy reading. Great idea. I love it and maybe you will too.

Six Months Old

I can't believe that my boy is already 6 months old. Time has flown by. He has truly changed our lives. He is the best baby, and we are so grateful he is part of our family. Chloe is such an amazing sister. He lights up when she comes into the room. She helps me so much. I think he might be a little spoiled though. He is started to think that he should be held or talked to at all times.

Christmas 2008

I absolutely love this time of year. The lights, the parties, family time, Christmas cards(which I didn't get my act together and do this year:), the music, and especially the opportunity to reflect on the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.
Every year for Christmas Eve the whole Shepard family meets for Breakfast and then heads off to Knotts to see Santa. It is so much fun and we love looking back on all the years of Santa pics. We then head over to my parents house to have a big Christmas Eve dinner, spend the night and then Christmas Day we head back to the Shepard's and have another incredible meal. Amanda and Stanton were here this year, which made Christmas morning even more exciting.

Breakfast at the Pancake House

Papa Bruce and Steele(do we wonder where his beautiful blue eyes come from)

Right after we spread magic reindeer dust over grandma's lawn and started getting ready for bed, we heard a ton of commotion downstairs. We were so surprised when we went downstairs and saw Santa there. He said he was just checking to see which children were there and he would be back to leave presents when they were asleep. Chloe was so excited! She could barely fall asleep after that.
This year Chloe asked Santa for a wallet with twenty dollars in it. I don't know where she came up with this, but you got to love her!

A few weeks before Christmas we went down to see Santa come on the train by our house. It was so cute and the kids loved it.

Happy New Year

I have officially joined the blog world. After 2 years of blog snopping and pressure from sisters I did it. One of my goals for the new year is to journal more so I figure what better way. 2008 came and went so fast with little memories recorded. 2009 will be my year!
